Don’t worry, we all remember our first time too! Here are some FAQ’s to help with your first PUSH.
HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR A CLASS?
Getting started at PUSH is easy!
1. Create an account by clicking on the "Sign Up" button.
2. Click on the schedule and view the class profiles.
3. Buy classes. Choose a drop-in class, 5, 10 or 20 class cards, or unlimited monthly memberships to suit you best.
4. Click on an available class to reserve your bike. If a class is full, you can put yourself on the waitlist. If a bike opens up in that class, you’ll be placed into the class and notified via email.
5. Reserve a bike.
6. Come to class and PUSH your limits!
WHEN CAN I RESERVE A CLASS?
Reservations begin 7 days prior to the scheduled class. We encourage you to sign up for your favorite classes as soon as possible as many classes fill up quickly. Reservations can be made up to 30 minutes before the start of class. All Reservations will be held up to 5 minutes prior to the class start time. 5 minutes prior to the start of each class, all open spaces will be given to walk-in and waitlisted clients. When you arrive at the studio, please sign-in at the front desk, so we know that you have arrived and are attending class. If you have not checked in 5 minutes prior to class, PUSH reserves the right to give your spot to a walk-in member.
WE START & FINISH ON TIME
Nothing is worse than trying to get set up last minute! Try to come to the class 15 minutes early to check-in, fill your water bottle, get your bike set up, etc. Let the front desk know it's your first PUSH and we’ll get you set up!
When you arrive at the studio, please sign-in at the front desk, so we know that you have arrived and are attending class. If you have not checked in 5 minutes prior to class, PUSH reserves the right to give your spot to the next rider in line.
Please note that there is a 6 hour reservation policy. If you do not change your scheduled class within the 6 hours you will loose one class from your passes or an equivalent dollar amount to a single class pass will be charged to your account. No refunds will be granted for no-show reservations.
WHAT HAPPENS AT CHECK-IN AND WHAT IF I AM LATE OR NEED TO LEAVE EARLY?
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class to ensure you have adequate time to check in at the front desk, get the right size shoes, get water, etc. This is especially important for FIRST TIME RIDERS so that you can be properly fitted on the bike for safety.
Please note: We will not allow anyone to enter class after the studio door is closed and the Motivator has started the class. This is for safety of the members and courtesy to the Motivator and participants in class. If you are late, you will loose one class from your passes or an equivalent dollar amount to a single class pass will be charged to your account. No refunds will be granted for late arrivals.
If you need to leave class before it ends because you are ill, dizzy or have another health-related issue, please do so quietly and safely. Otherwise, we ask that YOU NOT LEAVE CLASS until the class has ended and the lights have been turned back on.
CAN I CHANGE A RESERVATION?
Yes, in order to change a reservation you must update a minimum of SIX HOURS before your scheduled class in order to avoid penalty. If you NO-SHOW or don't change within six hours of your class start time, an equivalent dollar amount to a single class pass as a ‘no show’ fee will be automatically charged to your credit card on file, regardless if you have an unlimited membership.
To change a class, sign into your account and head to MY INFO > MY SCHEDULE. Find the ‘Cancel’ button on the right-hand side of the page and remove yourself from the class.
IS THERE A WAITLIST?
Yes, there is a waitlist option. As soon as a bike has opened up for you, we will notify you by email (sent in advance of 30 minutes before class). It is YOUR responsibility to check your email if you are on the waitlist to avoid a 'no show' charge. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A PHONE CALL FROM THE STUDIO.
Remember, when you put yourself on a waitlist, the system uses one of your credits to hold your place. If you do not plan on attending class, please remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid penalty.
WHAT TO WEAR
We suggest wearing comfortable attire such as a light-weight t-shirt or tank top and form-fitting pants or shorts on the bottom.
Please place outdoor footwear on the mats in the entryway. NO OUTDOOR SHOES ARE ALLOWED IN THE CHANGE ROOMS OR THE STUDIO.
Riders are required to wear cycling shoes that clip into the pedals to get a more stable, safer ride and target the correct muscle groups. PUSH offers cycling shoes at no extra cost for riders to ensure your foot is in a secure position on the pedal to allow for a more efficient pedal stroke. Cycling shoes are only to be worn in the cycling studio; always remove your shoes before leaving the studio. If you have your own shoes, our pedals are SPD compatible.
Be sure to hydrate before, during, and after your workout. We have water bottles for sale in our studio or bring your own and fill up at our filtered water fountain.
Our change rooms do not include lockable storage. Please leave your valuables at home as we cannot be responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Please don’t bring cell phones into the studio. You’ll have to wait until after your workout to text/tweet/post about how great your class was.
Like any new fitness routine, you may want to speak with your doctor before your first class. If you have any injuries or medical issues, please let us know before class. Our Motivators will inspire you to PUSH yourself, but please listen to your body and work out at a pace that is comfortable for you. If you experience any unusual or persistent symptoms after class, please don’t hesitate to seek medical attention.
Our bikes aren’t just a great ride, they’re easy to set up! In case you’ve never done it before, there are 4 places where you can adjust your bike:
1) Seat height
2) Fore/aft seat position
3) Handlebar Height
4) Fore/aft handlebar position
If you’re new to cycling, arrive early and ask the receptionist or your Motivator for assistance.
DO MY CLASSES EXPIRE?
Yes. Drop in and class packages expire 1 year from date of purchase. Monthly passes expire 1 month from the date of purchase.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY MONTH-TO-MONTH AUTOPAY?
This membership automatically renews subsequent to your minimum 12-month commitment until notice of cancellation is given. Cancellation must be given a minimum of 30 days prior to your monthly renewal date. A cancellation request must be received in writing or via electronic mail to email@example.com.
CAN I PURCHASE CLASSES FOR A FRIEND?
Yes! You can purchase gift cards online or at the studio. Gift cards are for specific dollar amounts.
CAN I SHARE CLASSES WITH A FRIEND?
No, classes are non-transferable.
CAN I TAKE A CLASS IF I AM PREGNANT?
Please consult your doctor before taking any classes. We have had many moms-to-be take classes and hope you can join in.
I’M NEW TO INDOOR CYCLING. CAN I REGISTER FOR ANY CLASS?
Yes! All PUSH classes are safe, fun and effective for members of all shapes, sizes and abilities. You don't even have to know how to ride a bike! PUSH 101 is an introductory class for new riders to help get set up and understand the benefits of indoor cycling so you can get the most out of your ride.
